Today for your viewing pleasure I am chemically removing all the paint and rust off this classic 1972 De Tomaso Pantera.

I am using a proprietary 3 step process. First I will dip the car into an alkaline paint remover and degreaser. The car will remain in the tank for a few days, then it will be removed and pressure washed. This step will be repeated until all the paint, seam sealer, undercoating, and filler is removed.

After the car is bare metal it will then go into a food grade acid bath to removal all the rust. The car will remain in the acid for about 2 day, it will get pulled out, neutralized in our alkaline tank to stop from flash rusting, then pressure washed. This step will also be repeated until all the rust is removed.


The last step we dip the car into our water based rust inhibitor to protect the bare metal for up to 30 days.
