This secret hidden Japanese fluffy pancake shop hides in the basement of a building across Shibuya 109. One of the fluffiest pancakes in Tokyo, this Shibuya pancake shop has various menu items and monthly specials. If you are looking for fluffy pancakes in Shibuya then you don't have to look any further than this spot, Espresso D Works Shibuya. One of my secret found joys, this spot puts a smile on my face. Definitely a Tokyo Food hidden gem. You've probably seen my video of Benitsuru fluffy pancake in Asakusa, still one of my favorites, but going all the way across town to get those pancakes is rough for someone like me who lives in Shibuya. This is why this shop is perfect for me when I'm getting that souffle pancake craving. Plus as a special surprise, this souffle pancake shop in Shibuya also serves an amazing fried chicken and waffles. So for those travelers with friends who aren't into fluffy Japanese pancakes, then they can go with the fried loveliness of good old fried chicken.
