Eddy currents are a fascinating phenomenon that can be used for some stunning experiments. In this video I try to show a variety of experiments utilizing eddy currents. My imagination is limited so feel free to comment with other experiments that you have tried yourself.
I probably should warn the ones that invests in copper bullions: Copper is a soft metal and the nickel coating on the neodymium magnets will easily scratch the copper!
I don't mind the scratches since the copper bars were bought specifically for magnet experiments.
I bought the copper on eBay.de. The large one was around 80€ (100$).

I have added English and Danish subtitles for the hearing impaired, the ones that don't understand my danish accent or the ones that just want to see what Danish looks like :)
