You might as well think of this as the ultimate dream. Having a technical stretch of mountain road closed off for the day up in the Italian Alps and two of the most iconic AWD restomods to come out of Italy, the Amos Futurista and the Amos Safarista.

We met up with Eugenio Amos on his shakedown test of his latest creation, a wild interpretation of what a bespoke, custom built, 2-door version of a Safari-spec Lancia Delta would be. Yes it sounds like a crazy project - and it is - but this is reality and I got to sit shotgun and enjoyed one of the wildest rides ever. Wastegate and blow off valves popping, sequentially shifted gears banging and tons of drifts certainly makes for a fun video.

To top if off I got to sample the number 0 Futurista development car and came away totally getting why we need more cars like these. Restomods make total sense and are the rides that continue to captivate the minds of enthusiasts around the world. Big props to Eugenio Amos and his team for crafting something very special.
