We’ve spoken to people across the supply chain, from low-level street dealers to traffickers at the highest levels.

Some are breaking the underworld’s code of silence to reveal details about the trade that have never been seen or heard before.

These people are fuelling a cocaine boom across the country. Australians are the highest per capita users of cocaine in the world, and pay some of the highest prices in the world for it – about $350 a gram.

Police claim things are under control, but those in this shadow economy tell a very different story.
