Chinatown Kuala Lumpur is a food haven of authentic street food and comforting meals to please any like-minded foodie's soul. Most of the stalls are run by aunties and uncles who have been there for decades and even generations.
With its rich history in food culture, its no wonder locals call this place a street food hotspot and the place is usually crowded.

00:50 LAI FOONG BEEF NOODLE
Lai Foong beef noodle restaurant has long been famous for beef noodle soup since 1956. You can add beef intestine, tongue, spleen, torpedo, or testicle.
You can choose from Kuew teow, Lai fun, Mee hoon, or Mee.
The very tender and tasty slices of beef and the flavorful broth are a perfect combination!

02:15 ROASTED DUCK RICE
The name of their stall is written in Chinese as follows. Chicken rice that smells a thousand miles away. Their steamed chicken is delicious, but I recommend the roasted duck!

03:05 LALA SOUP NOODLE
Lala means clam. The soup is unique and full of seafood flavor. I can just imagine you slurping down that soup.Try it!

04:37 Hong Kee Famous Claypot Chicken Rice
They cook the rice well over charcoal and can be topped with your choice of chicken, Chinese sausage or fish. The savory aroma of soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice wine spreads as soon as the lid is opened. Well worth it!

05:48 Soong Kee Beef Noodles
They have been serving it for generations for 70 years. Both the tender, juicy slices of beef and the minced beef will be a unique experience!

06:54 Swiss Roll And Kaya Kok
Lovely 80 year old grandma is the trademark. Kaya jam is not too sweet and the rolls are very light on the palate. You'll find yourself unconsciously devouring two or three slices, and on!

They have been selling Soy Bean for nearly 100 years, and we recommend the Tau Fu Fa, which is tasty and soft with a delicious texture.Soy Bean drinks come in a variety of sizes, including cups and bottles, making them the perfect accompaniment while walking around town!

09:04 Hon Kee Porridge
This famous porridge restaurant opens early in the morning at 5am.The signature dish, raw fish porridge, is best served with the aroma of sesame oil and ginger. The fish used is Grass Carp. Dipping the fish into the hot porridge lightly cooks it.It will be a very unique experience!

They roast chestnuts on a small stone heated to nearly 70 degrees Celsius. You can try them from as little as 300 gm, so you might as well buy some to take home as a snack!

10:36 Sin Kiew Yee Shin Kee Beef Noodles
Authentic beef noodle restaurant with a very long history.Needless to say, the beef is tender and you will be captivated by it. Their clear beef broth is also delicious, and I recommend ordering it dry, meaning no broth!

12:02 Petaling Street Apek's Apam
Apam balik is a nostalgic snack food for Malaysians. Widely popular as a snack, the sweet combination of rich peanuts and sugar is exquisite. The Uncle has carried on the stall for decades and continues to bake pancakes. A must-try!

13:16 Sei Garn Zai Duck
A stall where you can get a whole or half roasted duck.
The duck's sauce is some good stufff.The taste is still maintained good for many decades since their father until daughters business. The wrapped duck feet is very nice too, It has duck intestine, duck feet and liver in it. It is better to visit early in the morning!

14:13 Madam Tang Muah Chee Queen
Madam Tang has been making Muah Chee for over 50 years.
You can enjoy local flavors such as pandan and black sesame as well as fruit flavors such as mango and lychee.Serving up Chewy chunks of tradition!

15:15 Ho Kow Hainam Kopitiam 何九海南茶店
The popular Kopitiam is always very crowded.
The best recommendation is the Kaya Toast. Kaya toast is so popular that it can be eaten anywhere, but their toast is exquisitely cooked to achieve a light texture.Cham (Hainan Tea) is also good. I love it paired with curry noodles!

With its eye-catching European-style exterior, this café is famous for its pandan layer cake and pandan soft. Right next door is the photogenic Kwai Chai Hong, an oasis for those tired of shooting and the heat outside.
