Kawaguchiko Maple Corridor, or in Japanese the Momiji-Kairo is a very small garden with two dozen maple trees that are conveniently located just in front Mt. Fuji and by the shores of Lake Kawaguchiko. With a lot of patience and if you are ready to be there at around 6 or 7am, you can then take some of the beautiful pictures of your trip to Japan. After 8am, the Maple Corridor will literally look like Shibuya crossing during the week-end, so be warned, it’s a lovely place but extremely crowded all day long!!!!!

Le Kawaguchiko Maple Corridor (le couloir d’érables), ou Momiji-Kairo en japonais, est un minuscule jardin d’une douzaine d’érables qui fait face au Mont Fuji depuis les rives du lac Kawaguchiko. En automne, avec beaucoup de patience, et si vous acceptez de vous rendre ici vers 6 ou 7h du matin, vous pourrez prendre les plus beaux clichés de votre voyage au Japon. A partir de 8h, ce petit jardin prendra l’aspect du Shibuya Crossing pendant tout le week-end. Alors faites attention, les plus beaux endroits sont toujours les plus encombrés par la foule toute la journée.
