My great grandmother was Algonquin. Honouring my ancestors heritage is a necessity for me as I feel a strong connection to it. I wish I would have known my great grandmother, I believe I would have learned so much from her. Iroquois and Micmac ancestors are also in my family blood line.
Perhaps this could be the part in me that feels the strong connection to all living things and nature.
