The next instalment of the Captain Marvel franchise is titled 'The Marvels', featuring the return of Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau, WandaVision), and introducing Iman Vellani as the young Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel.

It has been reported that Marvel plan to replace Brie Larson as Captain Marvel but it is not clear whether Monica Rambeau or Kamala Khan will inherit her title.

Interestingly, Brie Larson has not been favoured by her co-stars since the release of Captain Marvel. This trailer imagines a world where Carol Danvers remains Captain Marvel but is instead played by an old fan favourite: Katee Sackhoff.
