Do you know that the history of ice cream goes four thousand years back? It is said that in ancient China a dessert was server which resembled modern ice cream! It is also known that ancient Greeks, Persians, Romans and Mongols in India consumed chilled milk products, juices and their mixes! Also, there was an Iranian dish called "Falude" (appeared in the V century B.C.), which was made of starch fibers, frosted with rose water, lime juice and sometimes with milled pistachios. In Europe, ice cream was first introduced by Marco Polo. He brought first recipes from China in the XIII century! In the USA, the first specialized ice cream cafe opened its doors in 1945.
