Two Illinois paramedics were charged with murder after a patient died. The incident happened after cops responded to an emergency call that a man was having hallucinations due to alcohol withdrawal. After the paramedic made the man walk to the ambulance, he was placed face down on the gurney. He later died at the hospital. According to the coroner, the cause of death was "asphyxia due to prone facedown restraint on a paramedic transportation by tightened straps across the back and lower body."
