After hearing all the discourse about how Quibi had made such a terrible mistake in raising over a billion dollars before launching and getting their product in the hands of consumers, I thought it would be interesting to look at Waymo, which has also raised billions of dollars and has yet to launch a viable commercial product. The situation is obviously different because Waymo is working on such a hard engineering problem, but there are still some reasons to be worried.
