It's easy enough to walk down a street in Japan and find some decent food. But it will never be like the quality you find if you're willing to go off the beaten path in search of something special. For this video we travel deep into the countryside of Nara Japan in search of the most delicious pizza you could possibly imagine. We found it. Yamaoka pizza is a place of divine pizza pilgrimage. A taste bud mecca if you will. Inaccessible by anything other than a car and perched on the side of Ikoma mountain you may never know it was there unless a friend informed you of its existence. I was lucky enough to meet such a man who pointed me in its direction. After sampling not only their savory pizza but their sweet as well I think it is safe to say my mind is blown and changed forever. All other pizza will taste like dust when compared with the insanely delicious exclusive pizza of Yamaoka. Oh, one final detail! Do not just go, they require that you make a reservation beforehand. Let me tell you, once your teeth bite into these irresistible flavors you'll never want to eat at another pizzeria restaurant again.
