Welcome to our Channel “House of Mansuryan”.
This is the first big remodeling project I have done back in 2017.
Apologies for the video quality but I wasn't filming for YouTube purposes.
For the story, this is a Mid-Century Modern house designed by the architect Charles DuBois in Woodland Hills, CA. My husband and I bought this house for $800,000 and remodeled in order to live in it. But we decided to put it on the market by curiosity. And we got an offer in just 3 days for asking price at $1,250,000. It was the highest sale price per SqFt in the neighborhood and stayed that way for over 2 years. Investors and flippers saw the opportunity since then and they all invaded the area, which raised the prices. Now the purchase price is close to $1M, but they still sell at around $1.3M. The main goal of a flipper is to find the next trendy neighborhood before the prices go up.
This remodeling project was very stressful because we were so inexperienced and pushing on our budgetary limits. But at the same time it was an amazing learning lesson and journey.
As for real estate or remodeling/flipping/investment and design, feel free to ask us any questions. We can also provide free one-on-one consultation in LA area/Palm Springs/San Diego and Las Vegas. We will be happy to help.
Thanks for Watching !!!
