Hello dear subscribers and guests of the channel!
I want to share with you the budget design of the autoclave, which cost me only $ 6 and which I successfully use to polymerize self-hardening plastics.
I made several purchases for making an autoclave.
On Aliexpress for $ 1 ordered a manometer.
At the flea market for $ 2. bought an old pump.
In the same place for $ 3, I bought this pressure cooker.

Attention!
Do not use a pressure cooker with this design.
High pressure can rip the cover off of this pressure cooker.
And at this pressure cooker from pressure in 3-4 atmospheres the bottom will simply swell up a little.
As you can see, the lid closes from the inside, so the higher the pressure, the tighter the sealing of the lid will be.
To connect these three products together and eliminate leakage through a pump check valve, I manufactured an air tee. I am very proud of the design of this tee.
This universal tee can be easily adapted to any task by simply installing the cap with another set of fittings.
Tee successfully passed the test under pressure of 8 atmospheres.
To attach the pump, I used a “Presta” nipple.
These nipples are convenient because they can be unlocked and locked without additional tools.
In the manometer, I made an M3 thread for the fitting, in order to preserve the external thread for fixing the device itself.

This is how it works.
We pour more water in order to maintain the desired polymerization temperature longer, and to pump less air.
For the polymerization of dental plastic, I use a temperature of 45 ° C.
The pressure at the same time, I usually choose about 3 atmospheres.
Polymerization time takes 30 minutes or more.
This casting was done without the use of an autoclave. And this casting was made in an autoclave with the above parameters.

See you on the channel!
Creative success to you!
