This is one of the most amazing experiences I have ever filmed. I got to hunt invasive Burmese Pythons with licenses python hunter Mike Kimmel at night, by hand in the Florida Everglades. Burmese Pythons are in an invasive species in Florida. After Hurricane Andrew hit Florida dozens of pythons escaped into the swamp and started breeding. Growing over 20 feet long and over 200 lbs these snakes are big and they are having a huge impact on Florida's unique ecosystem. The government has licensed a select few private snake hunters to try and remove as many pythons as possible. I got to ride along with one of these snake hunters and catch my own Burmese Python by hand, at night, in the swamp.
