This studio loft apartment in the Montmartre neighbourhood in Paris, France designed by Jean-Christophe Peyrieux Architect optimizes the small space.
The 215 sq ft studio has a staircase with storage and drawers under the stairs that makes use of every inch of the design.
In this 19m2 studio, the architect of JC Peyrieux had the chance to discover a beautiful height under ceiling thus allowing to create a sleeping area on the mezzanine. Also, the presence of a skylight in this space has improved comfort.
Last point, to optimize space, the architect chose a pocket door for the bathroom. It is the
perfect solution for small apartments because it retracts into the thickness of the partition.
And we gain 1m2 of available space compared to a classic swing door.
The toilet is extremely neat and tidy without feeling cramped. With large windows, it makes
the living room area look spacious and airy.
