When you do glute bridges without any weights, your body benefits immensely. But when you're ready to take your glutes to the next level, a little weight (in the form of dumbbells to start) is essential.

When growing your butt, you ALWAYS want to start with bodyweight. Once you get your form down and you are familiar with the exercises, then you can add some weights that are manageable FOR YOU. Please don't listen to those "gurus" that tell you, you must lift heavy right from day 1. They are trying to kill you 😂 Okay, maybe not literally but I can tell you from personal experience and as a TRAINED CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER, you should NOT lift hevy from day 1.

Start with weights that are manageable for you and slowly increase from there. Also, keep in mind that glute bridges should be part of a comprehensive program - so don't throw away all your other workouts and do glute bridges only 😆 okay i'm done rambling and ranting. I LOVE YOU!!
