Coriander Garlic Chutney
A unique combination of perky coriander and pungent garlic, made into a chutney that urges you to lick your fingers! The lemon juice adds a pleasant tang to the Coriander Garlic Chutney, while the roasted chana dal helps balance the flavours and thickens the chutney as well.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes. Cooking Time: Nil. Makes ¾ cup.
1 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
½ cup chopped fresh green garlic (hara lehsun), including the greens
1 tbsp roasted chana dal (daria)
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp roughly chopped green chillies
Salt to taste
1. Combine all the ingredients along with 5 tbsp of water in a mixer and blend till smooth.
2. Store in an air-tight container, refrigerate and use as required.
