Start by installing and activating the Adblock Detector plugin then go to ad blocking to configure.

you can either edit the default shortcode or create a new one.

If no adblock is detected you can add something maybe an ad code.

When adblock is detected you can display a message to just the users who have adblock enabled.

With the shortcode created you want to go to Appearance, Widgets and the ad blocking detector widget to your sidebar.

you can now see it in action on your site.
