LEGO Technic RC boat explores the ancient sunken city of Epidaurus

About fifty meters off the coast of the beach Kalymnios, under the Acropolis of Ancient Epidaurus, and just two meters below sea level lie the ancient remains of a Roman villa from the 2nd century AD. The villa was situated close to the Agora which was located opposite the port. According to archaeologists, the ruins used to be a Villa Rustica (large rural Roman villa) where wealthy Romans lived together with their servants.
To explore these ruins, and since even the best BlueTooth controllers lose signal at about 50 meters (less over water), I built a fully RC research vessel that carries three cameras and a drone. The drone can take off the flight deck to locate the target, and the vessel follows to capture underwater footage of the site. One camera (cellphone) is situated in the bridge to capture epic "captain's eye" footage, and one action camera faces backward on the deck.
Research vessel V1.0 specs :
Propulsion : 2x LEGO RC motors
Steering : 1x RC servo motor
Battery : 3-cell LiPo
Remote Controller : FlySky FS-i6 with 6-channel receiver
Electronic Speed Control (ESC) : Hobbywing Quicrun 1060
Footage was shot on LG G6 cellphone (bridge), Apeman A77 action camera (deck), Sony HDR-AS30V action camera (underwater), and DJI Mavic Mini drone (aerial).
