I had the chance to visit the set of SAUVAGES, the new puppet stop-motion animation film by Claude Barras, filmmaker known for Ma Vie de Courgette (My Life as a Zuchini).

The video is short mainly because I did not want to disturb the artists and creators at work. The craftsmanship, passion and technique that the film crew and animators displayed was amazing.

I hope you enjoy this quick set tour behind the scenes and that it gives you an idea of how puppet stop-motion animation works.
