Inside A Minimalist Cafe-Inspired HDB With A Unique
This 5-room HDB corner unit in Bedok North is a well-put together mix of everything that home owners, Jia Hong and Pei Ying love. Warm wood tones, a neutral and light colour palette, clean lines, a cafe-inspired vibe and as of recently, lots of rattan. This was actually not the first version of their home, as it has undergone two major renovations to this bright and airy space that it is today.
After their initial experience with built-in furniture, they decided that loose furniture was the way to go as it allowed them flexibility in reconfiguring the living space.
What we really like is the multi-purpose room or their "balcony" area, where they have a treadmill for exercise and where they keep all their plants. They've always wanted a balcony so this really doubles up with enough space for yoga or a quick jog.
Special thanks to Jia Hong and Pei Ying for taking the time to show us around their lovely home. Want more of their home? Check our their IG account @the_bai_house
