During an active game with other girls, Esthy finds herself somewhere high and realizes that she is afraid of heights. This causes the appearance of a small black creature called Fear. It feeds on the insecurities of the fairyteens and grows so big that their very existence is under threat. Tertia explains to fairyteens that fear can be conquered only by the person who created it. Esthy guesses that this fear is hers. She pulls herself together, overcomes her fear, and conquers the monster. Tertia steals the Moon Book from Dreammy — she believes that the ancient spells contained in the book will help her unravel the mystery of the Prophecy.

The Fairyteens TV animated series tells a story about five little fairies (four kids and a young mentor) who live in an ordinary human apartment. They train to control their magical powers, cope with the dangers of the world around them, and interact with each other. Gradually, the little sorceresses learn that they are destined for an unusual and very responsible role, and the fate of the whole fairy world may depend on their actions.
