AVOCADO TOAST RECIPE | EASY, CHEAP, VEGAN, HEALTHY!
LAY HO MA everyone! This is probably one of my favourite breakfast options. Its easy to make, looks great, and its absolutely delicious! Join me in this episode to learn how to make avocado toasties!
Ingredients:
1 avocado
1 half baguette
3 to 4 cremini (or your choice) mushrooms
1 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Place the avocado flesh into a bowl and mash with salt and pepper
2. Brush your mushrooms with a damp paper towel to remove dirt
3. Slice your mushrooms thin
4. Heat a pan on medium high and drizzle olive oil
5. Place mushrooms in pan and season with salt and pepper
6. Slice your bread into bite sized pieces
7. Place your bread onto a baking tray and broil on low for 3 to 5 min
8. Once the mushrooms are soft and moist, its done
9. Spread the avocado mash onto the toasties and top with the sautéed mushrooms
10. Finish with lime zest
