After the Mustang Mach-E, it is the turn of the new Focus to receive the new generation SYNC 4 technology allowing cloud-connected navigation and voice control with natural language understanding. SYNC 4 is based on an all-new 13.2-inch landscape format center screen, the largest in the segment 1 , with an intuitive interface designed for easy navigation. This technology is also compatible with Ford Power-Up over-the-air software updates to improve functionality over time.

Advanced driver assistance technologies first introduced to the Focus include Blind Spot Monitoring 2 , which detects vehicles approaching from behind, and can apply countersteering to warn the driver and avoiding a lane change maneuver if a potential collision is detected.

The new Focus also offers an automatic transmission option for the fuel-efficient EcoBoost Hybrid (mHEV) engines for the first time, available up to 155 hp. The seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission makes driving less demanding, especially in town and in traffic jams, thanks to the performance of the hybrid engine.
Ford has also improved the Focus TURNIER's 1,653-litre loadspace for convenience, responding to user feedback. By adding new materials in the passenger compartment, a vertical separator for simple and efficient organization of the load space as well as a section dedicated to wet objects, the new Focus TURNIER becomes even more practical for families and leisure activities.

The new Focus features a new exterior design inspired by Ford's "user-centric" philosophy, giving each new Focus a distinct personality. The new higher bonnet asserts the visual presence, and the Ford "blue oval" badge invites itself to the center of the wider upper grille.

New LED headlights are standard on all new trim levels and now include integrated fog lamps which feature a distinctive light signature. Five-door and TURNIER models feature a darker taillight lens for more status styling, while the LED taillights feature a new internal design with a darker center section and new looping light pattern.

Each new Focus variant benefits from unique design details, with grilles and fenders reflecting distinct personalities and creating greater differentiation within the range. The Trend Business and Titanium series have a wide upper grille with a chrome surround, which is distinguished by its powerful horizontal bars and is matched by side vents that extend from the lower grille. Additionally, the Titanium Series features a chrome finish on the upper grille bars.

The expanded availability of the Vignale Pack in addition to the X Pack for the new Focus introduces more premium features for the Titanium, ST-Line and Active models. As well as improved equipment levels and interior finishes, the Vignale specification introduces satin finishes to the upper grille and side air vents instead of a body-colour finish, as well as exclusive alloy wheel designs. The new Focus benefits from five new alloy wheel designs across the range.
Drivers will benefit from the improved efficiency and performance of the new Focus' EcoBoost Hybrid engines thanks to the introduction of a seven-speed Powershift automatic transmission, with WLTP fuel consumption of 5.2 l/100 km and emissions of CO2 of 117 g/km 1 .

The Powershift automatic transmission also helps save fuel by keeping the hybrid engine running at optimum speed for improved efficiency, and allowing the Auto Start-Stop system to operate below 12 km/h.

Available with powers of 125 hp E85 and 155 hp, the new Focus' EcoBoost Hybrid 1.0l engine is also available with a six-speed manual gearbox (on the 125 hp model), with a WLTP consumption of 5.1 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 115 g/km. For drivers who do a lot of kilometres, the 1.5l Ford EcoBlue diesel engine is available with an output of 95 hp and 120 hp, with a consumption of 4.0 l/100 km and 106 g/km of CO2 WLTP.
