Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer has said he will step down if the police fine him for breaking covid lockdown rules.

But Sir Keir insists that he didn't break the law when he ate a curry and drank beer with party members in Durham last year.

He portrayed himself as someone who always follows the rules - and said that made him very different to Boris Johnson.
