Mid July on the Vietnam backpacker route is normally a hectic, busy but exciting time indulging in what this South East Asian tourism giant has to offer. However, this year brought drastic change when the World was hit by a global pandemic.
Coronavirus for many countries meant halting all travel. So many countries are, even now, being severely affected by this virus.

VIETNAM however, did a great job at making the coronavirus its bitch. Using an unparalleled quarantine system and preparing for the outbreak long before most other countries, Vietnam have managed to keep their cases to a minimum.

This meant that in July 2020, I was able to travel again freely across the country I've been living in for 2 years. I saw this a good opportunity to document the travel situation from my point of view. It also kicked my ass a few times along the way.
