Peace In Chiang Mai - My Heart is Full | Thai Cooking Classes, Our Motorcycle Diaries Through The Beautiful Mountains, & Capturing The Beauty Of Thailand One Moment At A Time | Sanne Vloet
Hey Guys!
Who feels recharged? I’ve never felt so rested after a vacation before. Thailand has filled my heart and my mind with not only passion, but inspiration for 2019. I read the comments from my first Thailand travel vlog and I wanted to make sure I followed up with another travel diary from my holiday. As you know I have a big passion for food and of course you guys know how much I love to cook, right? Bringing people together with something so universal like food is so satisfying, if I could cook a meal for all of you wouldn’t that be fun? The best thing about traveling is experience new cultures through cuisine, trying out new dishes, learning about the different flavors, and cooking styles is like therapy for me.
Thai cooking is on the top of my list of favorite foods. Anyone tried my green curry recipe? We decided to take a cooking course in Chiang Mai and I had so much fun learning more about the way they prepare foods and how they use local ingredients to make curry, papaya salad, and other delicious dishes. I had the chance to explore a local food market and I felt like I was in heaven. I can tell you that cooking with Max was a challenge, he almost burnt down the kitchen… Just kidding, we were a great team and had so much fun learning side by side. I’ll be sure to share my version of these recipes as soon as I get settled back in New York City.
The next part of our trip to Chiang Mai was magical. Max surprised me by renting a motorcycle and we toured around the mountains and took in the breathtaking beauty of the Thai wilderness. Since 2019 is about overcoming fears, I’m going to have Max teach me how to drive a motorcycle on his Harley!
It’s the first Monday of the New Year so I thought we should do something a little different. Instead of asking questions for another Q&A ask me a question in the comments below and I will try to answer as many of your great questions as possible! I will try to respond to everyone for the first few hours so ask away!
Give this video a big thumbs up if you want to see the rest of our vacation from our time at the beach in Phuket!
xx

p.s. to everyone in the Philippines, the airline cancelled my flight from Bangkok to Manila which meant that I wouldn’t have a 24 hour layover. I’m not sure why, but I’m going to find a way to get back here and see all of you guys in Manila very soon. Will keep you updated and can’t wait to meet you all!
