Ingredients for Dates Mixture:
Butter 3 tbsp.
Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
Almonds (chopped) 1/2 cup
Sesame seeds 3 tbsp.
Cashew nuts 1/2 cup
Pistachios (chopped) 1/4 cup
Dates 2 cups (seedless)

Ingredients for Coconut Mixture:
Condensed milk 1 cup
Desiccated coconut 3 cups
Green gel food color 1-2 drops

Ingredients for Dates Bar:
Dates Mixture as required
Poppy seeds as required
Pistachios (crushed) as required

Ingredients for Date and coconut bar:
Dates mixture as required
Coconut mixture as required
Poppy seeds as required
Desiccated coconut as required

Directions for Dates Mixture Preparation:
1. In a pan heat butter and add dates, cardamom powder and cook on low flame until soft.
2. Add almonds, cashew nuts, pistachios, sesame seeds and cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
3. Take off flame and let it cool at room temperature.
Directions for Coconut Mixture Preparation:
4. In a pan add coconut, condensed milk and cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
5. Now add food color and mix and cook until evenly colored.
6. Take off flame and let it cool at room temperature.
Directions for Dates bar Preparation:
7. Take dates mixture and flatten it with your hands, roll it into log shape.
8. Spread poppy seeds on board and roll the prepared dates bar of poppy seeds.
9. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Cut into slices, sprinkle pistachios on top and serve.
Directions for Dates and Coconut bar Preparation:
10. Take coconut mixture and roll it into log shape.
11. Take dates mixture, flatten it with your hands, remove uneven edges and place coconut bar in the middles of dates mixture sheet.
12. Roll the dates mixture around coconut bar, spread poppy seeds on board and roll the prepared date and coconut bar on poppy seeds.
13. Refrigerate for 24 hours, cut into slices, sprinkle desiccated coconut on top and serve.
Preparation time: 10-15 mins
Cooking time: 15 mins
Servings: 6-8
