⬜︎古町温泉「もみじの湯」

塩原温泉街の中心部を流れる箒川の川沿いにあり、
吊り橋を渡ってたどり着く公衆露天風呂です。
入浴料は、たったの100円。

周辺はモミジの木立になっており、
新緑や紅葉の季節には色鮮やかな木々を眺めながら入浴することができます。
源泉は温度が高いため加水して温度調節しているそうです。

営業時間：7:00～17:00
料金：100円（協力金）
備考：混浴
女性はバスタオルが必要です。

⬜︎新湯共同浴場「寺の湯」☜ 再チャレンジします。

噴煙がもうもうと上がる「硫黄山」のすぐ下にある共同浴場です。
昔はこの地に「円谷寺」というお寺があり、その境内には温泉の浴場があったそうです。 現在は廃寺となっていますが、その昔を偲び「寺の湯」の名がついています。
非常に濃い温泉で、入ると少しピリピリするとのこと。
新湯共同浴場では唯一の混浴。
当時の湯治場風情を色濃く残す姿がここにはあります。

入浴料：300円（新湯の旅館宿泊者は無料）
利用時間：7時～18時
泉質：単純酸性硫黄温泉（硫化水素型）
備考：混浴

I went to "Furumachi Onsen Momiji no Yu" in Nasu Shiobara.

It is located along the Broom River that runs through the center of the Shiobara hot spring resort.
It is a public open-air bath reached by crossing a suspension bridge.

The bathing fee is only 100 yen.

The surrounding area is a grove of maple trees.
During the season of fresh green and autumn leaves, visitors can bathe while admiring the vivid colors of the trees.
The temperature of the spring water is adjusted by adding water due to its high temperature.

Hours of operation: 7:00-17:00
Fee: 100 yen (cooperation fee)
Note: Mixed bathing
Women need a bath towel.

Shinyu Public Bathhouse "Teranoyu

This is a public bathhouse located just below "Mt. Io-zan" where a plume of smoke is rising.
In the past, there was a temple called "Enya-dera" in this area, and a hot spring bathhouse was located within its precincts. Although the temple is now closed, it has been named "temple hot spring" in memory of the old days.
It is a very thick hot spring, and you will feel a little tingling when you enter.
It is the only mixed bathing in the Arayu public bathhouse.
There is a figure here that strongly retains the appearance of a therapeutic bathhouse of those days.

Entry fee: 300 yen (free of charge for guests staying at inns in Niiyu)
Hours of use: 7:00 - 18:00
Spring quality: Simple acid sulfur hot spring (hydrogen sulfide type)
