今回は岐阜県奥飛騨温泉郷にある「深山荘」へ行ってきました。
旅館へ向かう前に、道の駅スカイドーム神岡へ立ち寄り、カミオカラボにてスーパーカミオカンデの存在を知りました。
スーパーカミオカンデは、世界最大の地下ニュートリノ観測装置。
ニュートリノを解明すること、それは宇宙の初期に物質がどのように作られたかという謎にも繋がるそう。宇宙好きにはたまらない施設ですね。

深山荘は栃尾温泉を抜け、さらに奥にある新穂高温泉郷の中にあります。駐車場から「かじか橋」という吊り橋を渡り、たどり着く旅館はやや古びていて、とても雰囲気があります。
当館の露天風呂は、日帰り入浴可能な混浴大露天風呂、男性専用露天風呂、女性専用露天風呂、そして宿泊者専用家族風呂「湯のサコの湯」と「深山荘の湯」の二つがあり、どれも源泉掛け流しです。

今回は宿泊者専用露天風呂「湯ノサコの湯」に入りました。
貸切露天風呂は、混浴に抵抗がある方や家族だけで入浴を楽しみた方などに最適。
時間制となっており、1時間制でお好きな時間で予約して入浴することが出来ます。（22時以降は自由）
24時間入浴可能なのは、温泉好きには最高。
「湯ノサコの湯」は、浴槽が二つあり、熱湯とぬる湯があります。
すぐ隣には川が流れ、プライベートな空間を保ちながらも開放感があり、特罰感を味わえる貸切風呂でした。

夜ご飯は、飛騨の名物。朴葉味噌や飛騨など味わうことができ、それに合わせ、とれたての山菜や川魚も堪能。
お腹いっぱいで大満足です。

This time we went to Fukayama-so in Okuhida Onsenkyo, Gifu Prefecture.
Before heading to the ryokan, we stopped by the Sky Dome Kamioka roadside station and learned about Super-Kamiokande at the Kamioka Lab.
Super-Kamiokande is the world's largest underground neutrino observatory.
It is said that understanding neutrinos will lead to the mystery of how matter was created in the early universe. This facility is a must for space enthusiasts.

Fukayama-so is located in the Shin Hotaka hot spring village, further inland after passing Tochio Onsen. From the parking lot, we crossed a suspension bridge called "Kajika-bashi" to reach the inn, which is rather old and has a very nice atmosphere.
The inn has a mixed bathing open-air bath, a men-only open-air bath, a women-only open-air bath, and two family baths, "Yunosako-no-yu" and "Fukayamaso-no-yu," which are available for day-trip bathing.

This time, I took the "Yunosako no Yu" open-air bath for guests only.
The private open-air baths are ideal for those who are not comfortable with mixed bathing, or for those who want to enjoy bathing with only their family.
The bathing time is by the hour, and can be reserved at any time of the day. (After 10 p.m., you are free to go.)
This is great for those who love hot springs.
Yunosako no Yu" has two baths, one hot and one not so hot.
With the river flowing right next to it, it was a private bath that gave us a sense of openness and special punishment while maintaining a private space.

Dinner was a specialty of Hida. For dinner, we had Hida specialties such as magnolia miso and Hida, along with freshly caught wild vegetables and river fish.
I was full and very satisfied.
