In this 4 part series, we’re travelling all over Singapore to show you the best local Singapore street food. Singapore has an exciting street food culture and great food can be found at hawker centres and small restaurants all over the island. In this video we want to show you some of the more unusual dishes and snacks in Singapore alongside the famous. We feast on sup tulang- red bone soup- a dish created in the 1950s by the mamak (Indian Muslim) community, apam- a South Indian pancake from a famous stall in Ghim Moh food centre, followed by our favourite Hainanese chicken rice on the island. Kueh tutu at Tan’s Tu Tu Coconut Cake, Havelock Road Food Centre, 22B Havelock Rd, Singapore 162022. Open 12:00pm to 3:00pm. Closed Sunday.
