CHICKEN EMPANADA [ 2 ways to cook fry & oven baked]
Chicken boneless thigh 1/2 kilo
3 potatoes
1/2 carrot
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 onion
4 cloves garlic
2 bay leaves
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tomato ketchup or banana ketchup
2 tbsp knorr seasoning
1 tbsp brown sugar
Black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil or cooking oil
1/4 cup water -+ 1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup chicken broth
Substitute: 1/4 cup hot water + 1/2 knorr cube or chicken powder
Empanada dough:
2 1/2 cup all purpose flour or cake flour
3/4 cup cold butter
1/2 cup cold water
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
