LEARN HOW TO MAKE A QUICK TOFU MANCHURIAN RECIPE AT HOME!
LAY HO MA! Tofu is one of my favourite ingredients - it's meaty, versatile, and can sear up to get a deliciously crispy outer layer. Join me in this episode and learn how to make a quick Chinese style tofu Manchurian recipe right at home. Let's begin
Ingredients:
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 green bell pepper
1 carrot
1/2 red onion
200g extra firm tofu
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp plant based oyster sauce
1/4 tsp potato starch
3 tbsp avocado oil
Directions:
1. Roughly chop the bell peppers, carrot, and red onion
2. Pat dry the extra firm tofu and slice into bite sized cubes
3. Make the sauce by combining together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, oyster sauce, and potato starch
4. Heat up a non stick pan to medium heat. Add in the avocado oil
5. Fry the tofu for 3-4 minutes turning them occasionally
6. Add the carrots and onions. Sauté for about 1min
7. Add the bell peppers and sauté for about 3-4min
8. Add the sauce and sauté for another minute. Plate and serve!
