Today I’m going to share with you how to make better than takeout sweet and sour chicken now let me tell you my family LOVES this dish but only if it’s homemade so I truly hope you enjoy it just as much, I enjoy cooking foods other than Mexican. Tip ‼️⚠️ if you want your sauce more sweet, add more brown sugar if you want it more sour add more lemon juice

Want even crispier chicken??? No problem double fry! After taking the chicken out the first time allow it to rest a few minutes, while the other batch is frying, then put the chicken back in the oil and fry again for 1-2 minutes. If you don’t want your chicken to be crispy don’t add the baking powder 😉

I M P O R T A N T ⚠️
make sure your chicken is cold as if you just pulled it out of the fridge NOT FROZEN just cold, while it sits it will come to room temperature same for the egg

ingredients:
For the chicken:
2 lbs chicken breast
1 egg
1 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
6 tbsp cornstarch
5 tbsp APF
1 tbsp baking powder
For the sauce:
1/2 cup-2/3 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup brown sugar if you don’t like your sauce too sweet, add less
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup white vinagre
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 lemon juice and zest
Bean size ginger or 1/4 tsp ground
1 garlic clove or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp cornstarch with 1 tbsp water
1 serving of love 💕
