Lehsun ki Chutney

A pungent chutney of garlic, spiced up with chilli powder and pepped up with lemon juice. Lehsun ki Chutney combines wonderfully with plain and simple dishes like Bajra Rotla. It can also be used to perk up sandwiches, bread, and other savoury snacks. This chutney stays fresh for up to 2 weeks, when refrigerated in an air-tight container.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes.
Cooking Time: Nil.
Makes ¾ cup.

1 cup peeled garlic (lehsun) cloves
1 tbsp chilli powder
½ tbsp lemon juice
Salt to taste

Combine all the ingredients in a mixer along with ¼ cup of water and blend in a mixer to a fine paste.
Serve immediately or store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator and use as required.
