For most people cardio probably means running or training on an elliptical machine. But there’s so much more to cardiorespiratory training than simply running or using a piece of steady equipment. Some compound exercises can also increase your heart rate and help you burn some calories. Compound exercises are referred to those exercises that target multiple joints and muscle groups at one time. In this 10 minutes long video he performed exercises like run in place, butt kicks, running plank and jumping jacks.
