Fear is something we all experience and the Japanese woodworkers cannot avoid it either, especially when setting out on any new undertaking involving religion or culture in it. Failure is one of the most common and most damaging fears that many people struggle with. Surely none of these woodworkers wants to waste wood or cause the "death" of the wood.

Kudo Shogo, a young Kagura engraver from Takachiho town, for the first time he was allowed to carve an Ame-no-Uzume-no-Mikoto mask. Shogo made a big mistake when went blades too deep in the section under the eyes and the facial expression became sadder. While utilizing the master's work to Mr. Shogo's work, it is apparent that a deeper carves around the eyes gives out a more melancholic feeling.
Alternatively, Hara Yoshinori, a Danjiri sculptor from Kishiwada, Osaka. Although being 10 years of experience in the rough carving process, he still has shortcomings and must seek opinions from his Master

This script I wrote based on some interviews of a few master craftsmen, the Wood and Traditional Woodworking in Japan book, and what I've searched on google for it. After that, I have rewritten the content, a new voice was recorded, new effects work, new music, new footage added and a new creation is created to follow through with aesthetic aspects of traditional Japanese woodworking
