In this video, I'll tell you what Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), why and when it can be used for screening and how to interpret PSA test results. It is ideal for med students and for newly qualified doctors who need a refresher on urology.

Summary: The PSA test is a blood test used to screen for prostate cancer. However, many other conditions, such as benign prostatic hyperplasia, also can increase PSA levels. When PSA is found to be above normal levels, a prostate biopsy may be recommended to check for cancer.
