ARROZCALDO (Pos-Pas)

¼ cup cooking oil
¼ cup minced garlic
¼ cup ginger, finely chopped
1 cup chopped onions
¼ cup anchovy extract (Premium Patis)
2 tablespoons alamang guisado
2 tablespoons kasubha (you may use Atsuete powder)
1 whole chicken (you may include innards), cut into smaller pieces
4 pcs bay leaves
½ kilo glutinous rice (malagkit)
3-5 liters of water

1-2 pcs chicken broth cubes or 1-2 tbsp chicken powder

salt, pepper, more fish sauce to taste


Accompaniment: hard boiled eggs, toasted garlic, chopped spring onions
