The @Hennessey Performance Mammoth TRX 1,000hp hypertruck is at @The Shmuseum! It's bigger, faster, louder and crazier than the base TRX and in bright yellow even more so. This Mammoth is the same beast I drove in California, but it's time for a challenge on tight UK roads...

For the Mammoth, the Hennessey team take the RAM TRX and dial up the standard car's 6.2l Supercharged V8 from 707hp to a gigantic 1,000hp thanks to a new supercharger amongst many other tweaks. It's not only the power boost, but also the full kit for off-roading, new wheels and tyres, bumpers, bullbars and so much more.

However, it's personally quite exciting to drive the Mammoth on another continent, on a short list of cars I've driven on multiple continents alongside my Ford GT and AMG GT Black Series, plus drives in a grey Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport and a satin black Gemballa Mirage GT. Since I drove the Mammoth originally on an overcoast day in California, it's changed to be fully wrapped yellow, but this is where it gets interesting on much smaller UK roads where perhaps it's not exactly at home...

Significantly wider than even my Ford GT, the Mammoth is quite literally massive as the name suggests. And it turns out venturing to some country lanes is a recipe for a stressful time!
