Biasa dikenal dengan Salmon en Croute, makanan ini dibuat dengan cara dipanggang. Daging ikan salmon dilapisi dengan puff pastry yang gurih dengan isian bayam dan lezatnya mushroom sauce.

RESEP SALMON & SPINACH PUFF PASTRY WITH MUSHROOM SAUCE

Bahan:
500 gr salmon
500 gr bayam (rebus dan peras airnya)
3 lembar puff pastry (ukuran besar)
4 sdm butter
2 sdm mustard
5-6 siung bawang putih
1/4 bawang bombai
1 genggam daun diil
1 genggam daun basil
1 sdm minyak goreng
2 butir telur
Tepung terigu secukupnya
Gula, garam, dan merica secukupnya

Bahan mushroom sauce:
100 gr jamur shitake
100 gr jamur champignon
5 sdm minyak goreng
3 siung bawang putih
1/4 bawang bombai
4-5 sdm butter
250 ml krim
Gula, garam, dan merica secukupnya

Langkah:
1. Potong salmon, masukkan dalam wadah
2. Campurkan dengan mustard, gula, garam, merica, dan minyak. Aduk hingga rata
3. Potong halus daun diil dan daun basil. Masukkan dalam wadah yang berbeda
4. Campurkan bawang putih, bawang bombai, daun diil, daun basil, garam, dan butter. Aduk hingga rata
5. Ambil lembaran puff pastry, olesi dengan campuran butter yang sudah dibuat
6. Letakkan campuran salmon di atasnya, lalu lapisi kembali dengan butter. Letakkan bayam di atasnya
7. Olesi piggiran puff pastry dengan telur. Tutup adonan
8. Buat hiasan dari puff pastry, bentuk seperti jaring-jaring. Olesi bagian atas adonan dengan telur dan tutup dengan hiasan jaring
9. Panggang dalam oven sekitar 35-45 menit di suhu 200 derajat
10. Sajikan dengan mushroom sauce

Mushroom Sauce:
1. Masukkan minyak
2. Tumis jamur hingga kering
3. Setelah kering, tambahkan sedikit minyak
4. Masukkan bawang putih dan bawang bombai. Tumis hingga harum
5. Masukkan krim, masak hingga sedikit mengental
6. Masukkan gula, garam, dan merica sesuai selera
7. Masukkan butter, masak hingga mengental
8. Saus siap disajikan

Aku terbantu banget menggunakan oven elektrik dari Kirin KBO-350CL. Salah satu kecanggihannya yaitu double cooper heating element yang membuat hasil panggangan matang secara merata. Jadi gak perlu takut gagal deh.

Healthy and Easy: Salmon & Spinach Puff Pastry with Mushroom Sauce Recipe

Also known as Salmon en Croute, this dish is a baked dish. It's a salmon dish blanketed by the savory puff pastry with spinach filling and the delicious mushroom sauce.

SALMON & SPINACH PUFF PASTRY WITH MUSHROOM SAUCE RECIPE

Ingredients:
500 g salmon
500 g spinach (boiled and squeeze the water out)
3 sheets puff pastry (large)
4 tbsp butter
2 tbsp mustard
5-6 clove garlic
1/4 onion
1 fistful dill
1 fistful basil
1 tbsp cooking oil
2 pc eggs
Flour as needed
Sugar, salt, and pepper to taste

Mushroom Sauce ingredients:
100 g Shiitake mushroom
100 g Champignon mushroom
5 tbsp cooking oil
3 clove garlic
1/4 onion
4-5 tbsp butter
250 ml cooking cream
Sugar, salt, pepper to taste

Steps:
1. Slice the salmon and add to a bowl.
2. Add the mustard, sugar, salt, pepper, and oil. Mix well.
3. Chop the dill and the basil. Add to a different bowl.
4. Add the garlic, onion, dill, basil, salt, and butter. Mix well.
5. Spread the butter mix onto the puff pastry.
6. Add the salmon slices on top and spread more butter mix on top of the salmon. Top with the boiled spinach.
7. Brush the side of the pastry with the egg wash. Fold the pastry.
8. Make a puff pastry decor with some latticework. Brush the top with the egg wash and cover with the latticework.
9. Bake in the oven for 35-45 minutes at 200°C.
10. Serve with the mushroom sauce.

Mushroom Sauce:
1. Add some oil.
2. Sauté the mushroom until dry.
3. Once it's dry, add a bit of oil.
4. Add the garlic and onion. Sauté until fragrant.
5. Add the cooking cream and cook until the sauce thickens a bit.
6. Add the sugar, salt, and pepper to taste.
7. Add the butter and cook until the sauce thickens.
8. The sauce is ready to serve.
