One of the biggest changes is that 50MP primary camera, which is brilliant for low light photography as well as video. You get more detail and more natural skin tones in taxing conditions. The Galaxy S22 Plus also boasts a proper telephoto zoom lens now, although don't push in beyond the 10x level.

Gamers will enjoy the smooth performance you get from Genshin Impact, even on higher detail settings. Samsung's Exynos 2200 may not benchmark as high as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 but even demanding fare plays with a high frame rate. And the Galaxy S22 Plus stays cool even for extended gaming sessions.

Battery life so far has been fine, and while the specs aren't too dissimilar to the Ultra, you don't have that stylus pen for getting creative.
