Dudes, I don 't drink alcohol at all..and you can see why. I like to be as sober as possible, unless I can grow what I consume and it's not fermented into alcohol. Being a bipolar is very challenging - and although you guys see me all the time "at my best" I have been struggling with mental health since I was a kid. Even in this video i can see myself struggle. We had to edit this video so I didn't go off on some side rant.. Some of you know my back story - some of you don't - and some of you don't care. But if you are still reading, this is doing something for you - so my hope is to try and display that so many of us struggle in our own ways. We all share in the fact that we have a brain, most of us have emotions - and we all have daily struggles we hide from each other due to cultural, or societal ideals. I think more realism should be introduced in to the online social media sphere to show how closely similar we are to one another.

For several years I was battling a raging autoimmune disease in my body. It is called Crohns.. it eats your intestines with painful holes and digestive issues - prohibiting a person to eat. It's horrific. I was also battling a severe Candida infection for 2 years that was ravaging my body and it was undetected. I was fortunate to have doctors giving me medication - but it unearthed another issue I had been battling that was in regards to mental health. See, a persons intestines regulate the serotonin (the drug that affects mood) - and when you are impacted there - your moods go way out of whack, and it needs attention with pharmaceuticals. I was put on a drug called Mirtazapine - a high dosage. I was on that medication for over 2 years.. and slowly it was making my undiagnosed bipolar unmanageable. Something was wrong - and so many people could tell when they were watching my show.

I didnt really get a chance to figure out what was going on until I had an explosion on YouTube with another producer - and that was very outside of my normal persona. This was a moment of self reflection - and the realization that something was manifesting itself out of everything going on. This was when I was about to be identified as Bipolar.

I moved away from everything I knew. Every toxic entity I could remove from my life - we did. My Wife Jem & Son Maurice and I moved 5000kms across our entire country - to get away from everything - as far as we could - and move to the life we always wanted and new we could have.
My eating changed, my oxygen levels improved (we used to live 3800' above sea level) now - at sea level - and my vitamin D intake went way up due to the longer nature of the seasons. My Crohns is in complete remission, and my back injury is manageable by not eating inflammatory foods. I can not eat any dairy - not even a hint - and nightshades like tomatoes and well - all things red - are out. BUT! We now live in EDEN! Apples grow, we have fields of blueberries.. what can I say? Its amazing.

Unfortunately, I still struggle with mental health. I believe this is a life-long mission I have to play out - but heck, Im going to make the best of it along the way. Most days are flipping amazing - as I can ride these incredible euphoric highs for sometimes weeks before I crash and want to close in on myself.

I share these thoughts and feelings with you - because I know someone, somewhere is reading this right now - thinking to themselves "I'm not alone". No, you are not alone my friend. We are all brothers and sisters by nature. We may have different belief systems.. but we are all built similar.
