今回は、栃木県日光市にある
湯西川温泉 おやど湯の季さんに行ってきました。

湯西川温泉は今回で2回目！
前回、金井旅館さんに行った時に
お湯がとても良かった印象があり、再訪しました。

おやど湯の季さんのお湯は、3つの源泉から引かれる掛け流しのお湯です。アルカリ性の少しとろみのあるようなお湯や少し硫黄の香りのするお湯を楽しめます。

こちらの旅館には、3つの貸切露天風呂があります！
混浴露天風呂の「壮健の湯」と女性専用露天風呂の「美人の湯」、貸切風呂「鶴鶴の湯」の3ヶ所。
それぞれ違った雰囲気があり、その中でも私は貸切風呂の「鶴鶴の湯」が好きです。
こじんまりとした1つの内湯のみですが、窓が大きく、目の前の大自然を拝みながらゆったり浸かることができます。
女将さんには丁寧にお風呂を案内していただき、親切な旅館だなと思いました。

湯西川温泉には平家の落人の生活、歴史を知ることができる「平家の里」をはじめ、数多くの平家関係の史跡などを見てまわるコースもあり、旅館以外の場所でも楽しむことができます。

This time, we visited Yunishigawa Onsen Oyado-Yu no Toki in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture.

This is my second visit to Yunishigawa Onsen!
The last time I visited Kanai Ryokan, I had the impression that the hot water was very good, so I decided to revisit.

Oyado-Yu-no-Toki's hot water is free-flowing hot-spring water drawn from three different sources. You can enjoy alkaline, slightly thickened water and water with a slight sulfur aroma.

This ryokan has three private open-air baths!
The three baths are "Souken-no-yu," a mixed bathing open-air bath, "Bijin-no-yu," a women-only open-air bath, and "Tsurutsuru-no-yu," a private bath.
Each has a different atmosphere, and among them, I like the "Tsurutsuru no Yu" private bath.
It is a small, single indoor bath with a large window that allows for a relaxing soak while enjoying the view of nature in front of you.
The proprietress politely guided us to the baths, and I thought it was a kind ryokan.

In Yunishikawa Onsen, there is a "Heike no Sato" where you can learn about the life and history of the fallen Heike clansmen, as well as a course that takes you to numerous Heike-related historical sites, so you can enjoy yourself outside of the ryokan.
