Chair Cardio Kickboxing Workout for Seniors & Beginners w/ Light Weight Arm Toning
A fun heart pumping cardio kickboxing class for everyone! This 30 minute workout will work your entire body in a seated position. It's perfect for anyone with joint issues, beginners, seniors, balance or mobility issues. All exercises are low impact and can be modified for your fitness level.
This easy to follow routine consists of three cardio rounds. Each round has three exercises that will be repeated three times. This gives you the opportunity to really learn the moves and execute them at a level that you are comfortable with. The fourth round uses a light pair of hand weights or dumbbells for arm and shoulder strength building. I'm using 3 pounds in this video. A few pounds lighter or heavier would also be appropriate. If you don't have a set of weights, you can always use water bottles or canned goods just to add some resistance. We complete this workout with some stretching that will make you feel great and help with your posture.
