Masala Chicken Legs with Chatpaty Aloo
Ingredients for Masala Chicken legs:
Chicken legs 6-7
Water (for boiling) as required
Yogurt 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Nurpur Butter 4-5 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Ingredients for Chatpaty Aloo:
Potatoes (boiled) 1 kg
Nurpur Butter 3 tbsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Chaat masala 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp / to taste
Ingredients for Imli Chutney:
Tamarind pulp 1 cup
Mint leaves 1/4 cup
Sugar 2 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp / to taste
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Directions for Masala Chicken Legs Preparation:
1. Take chicken legs and prick holes on them with fork.
2. In a pot heat water and bring it to a boil. Add chicken legs and boil them until 80% done.
3. In a bowl add boiled chicken legs, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, black pepper powder and mix well. marinate for 10-15 mins.
4. In a pan heat butter and oil and add marinated chicken legs. Cook for 12-15 minutes or until they are fully cooked. Your Masala Chicken Legs are ready.
Directions for Chatpaty Aloo Preparation:
5. Take boiled potatoes and cut them into cubes.
6. In a pan heat butter and oil and potato cubes. Add salt, chaat masala and cook until crispy and golden brown in color.
7. Your chatpaty aloo are ready.
Directions for Imli Chutney Preparation:
8. In a blender add tamarind pulp, mint leaves, sugar, salt, cumin powder, crushed chilies and blend well.
9. Your imli chutney is ready.
10. In a bowl add Crispy aloo and imli chutnet. Toss them well and serve.
11. Your Chatpaty Aloo are ready. Serve them with Masala Chicken Legs and enjoy.
