INGREDIENTS:
6pcs Tokwa (hard tofu), sliced according to your desired size
Buttermilk mixture:
1 cup buttermilk (you can use 1 cup milk + 1 Tbsp White Vinegar as a substitute)
2 Eggs
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
1-1/2 tsp Salt
Breading:
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 cup Cornstarch
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Dried Basil
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
(*You can also add 1 tsp Onion powder
for additional flavor)
Salted Egg Glaze:
1/4 to 1/2 bar of Butter (if you want more glazed tofu, you can add another 1/4 bar of butter or you can add healthy oil like olive oil/coconut oil)
8 cloves Garlic, minced
7 pcs Yolk of Salted Egg, mashed
2 pcs Red Chili, sliced (you can add more if you like it spicier)
Onion Chives, chopped
3 Tbsps Brown Sugar
(you can add salt to your sauce or salted egg glaze coating if your salted egg yolk is not that salty)
