The TRX4 is simply incredible. I have never had a Radio Control Scale Trail Truck drive this well in all of my years of trail driving. The clearance of the Portal Axles, easily conquered all of the Massive Roots that have claimed MANY victims - and many trucks before. I beat down this truck in on the rocks and in the water - half expecting broken gears - or at least a popped link. NOTHiNG! I trailed hard for 1 hour - and at the end of the trek - my truck WAS STiLL ROLLiNG. This is a rare occurrence for me.. and usually, I have to carry out my rig. I was pleasantly surprised. I also chose to change my tires, to a Sealed Bead Lock for the Water. No need to tape holes in the original rims, if you have a sealed bead lock.

Being a Tekin guy, I have upgraded my truck with a TEKiN RX4 Waterproof ESC, for better control over my trucks motor. I can also boost the battery, if I choose to a larger cell. The Tekin RX4 does not get hot like the original ESC from Traxxas.
